Stone built the Nuptron 4000 to officiate his own wedding ceremony in 2004. The Nuptron speaks, moves arms, and pivots at waist; his eyes flash when speaking, and his mouth is an LCD screen with a single white line that modulates according to sound emitted.

The Nuptron garnered  local TV news coverage  in Chicago and northeastern Iowa (where Stone and his wife were married).

Later, the Nuptron 4000 was reprogrammed for a second career as standup comedian Bernie Circuits, giving performances at Art Chicago and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
